Kızıltepe 3rd Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced former People’s Democratic Party (HDP) MPs Erol Dora and Mehmet Emin Adıyaman to 15 months of imprisonment each due to ‘violating the Law on Meetings and Demonstrations No. 2911’; the sentences were deferred. The former MPs were on trial due to the press statement attempted to be made in 2016 in Kızıltepe district of Mardin on the curfew declared in Nusaybin.
